Reneé Selanders

Reneé Selanders worked as Managing Editor, News Editor, Campus Reporter and Copy Editor at The Daily. She interned at The Oklahoma Gazette in summer 2008, where two of her biggest articles featured as cover stories for the weekly, magazine-style publication. She participated in the Oklahoma Institute for Diversity in Journalism as a Fellow in 2005 and again as Chief Counselor in summer 2009. In addition to her involvement with OU Student Media, Reneé worked in Washington, D.C., in summer 2010 as a Ewing Fellow. She received the Cortez A.M. Ewing Fellowship from the political science department and spent the summer interning in the U.S. House of Representatives. Reneé will graduate in May 2011, and plans to pursue an internship and then attend graduate school.
