Daniel Chargois, mechanical engineering senior, remembers the entire stadium screaming as SoonerVision broadcast the first kick-off of the OU football season.
“I love going to the first game of the season,” Chargois says.
Chargois also remembers he loved the dorms as a freshman. He loved the fact that there was always someone to meet and something to do. That’s why Chargois is a Resident Adviser.

Opening night and it’s a full house. Backstage dancers stretch before the performance. Allison Rixey is nervous as she finishes her make-up.
On this night, she’s performing as the Dew Drop Fairy in the Classen School of Advanced Studies’ performance of The Nutcracker.
“Everything that I learned since I’ve come to OU and gained from my education all came together in that performance,” says Rixey, ballet performance and pre-med senior. “It was the performance of a lifetime.”

Family is important to most students. Moments spent at family gatherings, birthday parties and picnics are treasured by Dominique Pittenger, but her family has a little something else that keeps them together. Sooner born and Sooner bred, university tradition runs through her veins.
