5-2 loss to UCLA ends Oklahoma win streak at 10

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — UCLA starter Rob Rasmussen held Oklahoma to just one run on four hits over the first six innings as the Bruins took a 5-2 win over the Sooners.

The loss in the final game Sunday of the Whataburger Classic at Corpus Christi ended a 10-game win streak for Oklahoma (15-2). UCLA goes home with a spotless 13-0 record.

The Sooners took an early 1-0 lead in the third inning, but UCLA scored three runs in the fourth to take the lead for good.

Pinch hitter Drew Harrison went to the plate for Oklahoma in the ninth inning as the potential winning run, with two out, but grounded out to UCLA's shortstop to end the game.
